Job summary

Prudential plc is seeking an Architecture Leader to envision and govern our long-term architectural direction, focusing on reusable platforms and cloud-native designs. You will shape policy and design for PACS infrastructure, aligning technology with strategic business goals while ensuring security and performance.

You will bring hands-on development and admin experience, deep architecture knowledge (microservices, serverless, data & AI) and TOGAF familiarity.

Qualifications

7–10 years of architecture leadership experience.
Ability to translate business strategy into technology solutions.
Experience with cloud engineering, SRE (Azure).
Hands-on software development and system administration.
Strong knowledge of modern design patterns (microservices, serverless, data & AI).
End-to-end architecture understanding.
Experience with streaming technologies.
Familiar with Architecture Frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
Good understanding of DevOps.

Responsibilities

Envision and develop the long-term architectural direction, with emphasis on platforms / product reusable components.
Formulate the PACS Infrastructure policy, framework and design.
Build future state architecture to align with business strategy, including cloud native design, resilience and security.
Evaluate design options and trade-offs for functional and non-functional requirements.
Lead end-to-end architecture designs and integration patterns across systems.
Provide technical expertise to enable application design and iteration; collaborate on system integration plans.
