Job summary

Prudential Hong Kong Limited in Singapore seeks an Enterprise Architect to define and evolve the long-term architectural direction, focusing on platforms and reusable components. You will formulate infrastructure policy and design, and lead end-to-end architecture with strong governance around security and performance.

You will collaborate with Technology & Digital teams, translate business strategy into technology solutions, and drive cloud-native adoption, data/AI, and modern design patterns

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Architecture leader with 7–10 years total experience.
• Ability to translate business strategy into technology solutions.
• Experience with cloud engineering and SRE, preferably Azure.
• Hands-on software development and system administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern design patterns and architectures such as microservices and serverless.

We pledge to make Prudential a place where you can Connect, Grow, and Succeed.**Job Description*** Envision and develop the long-term architectural direction, with emphasis on platforms / product reusable components* Formulate the PACS Infrastructure policy, framework and design* Build future state architecture to encompass business strategy with design consideration of convergence, modernization, cost efficiency, business functionality, interpretability, cloud native design, resilience, security and future proofing.* Identify and evaluate alternative design options and trade-offs to handle both functional and non-functional requirements; Recommend designs that consider current applications & architecture, operating models as well as end target state architecture* Responsible for end to end architecture, high- & low-level designs of various systems and applications in line group strategy; Lead the preparation of detailed design specifications to form the basis for development & modification of applications; Define integration patterns* Ensure adoption and implementation of defined solutions; Provide technical expertise to enable the application design & iteration; Collaborates with other Technology & Digital teams to develop and agree system integration plans and review progress* Ensure that the collaborative nature of capabilities such as design and engineering is coupled with tight governance around non-negotiables like security, availability and performance.Who we are looking for:Technical Skills & work experience:* Proven experience as an Architecture leader with overall experience between 7 - 10 years* Demonstrated ability to understand business strategy & processes & its successful translation into technology solutions* Experience with cloud engineering, SRE (preferably Azure)* Hands-on experience with software development and system administration* Excellent knowledge of technical architecture and modern design patterns, including microservices, serverless functions, data and AI etc.* Deep End-to-End Architecture understanding* Experienced in streaming technology or frameworks* Familiar with one or more Architecture Frameworks (e.g. TOGAF etc.)* Good understanding of DevOpsPersonal Traits:* Exceptional team player* Strong communication skills & ability to engage senior stakeholders on strategic plans* Ability to lead committees and provide timely status updates* Excellent problem analysis skills.
