Job summary

Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home is seeking a caring clinical nurse assistant to support registered nurses in delivering comprehensive care to residents. The role includes supervising nursing aides, performing nursing procedures, and ensuring residents' comfort and hygiene.

You will identify early symptoms requiring medical attention, mentor aides, participate in upgrading programs, and document resident cases. Ad-hoc tasks may be assigned by the Nurse Manager/Assistant Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist registered nurses in delivering nursing care to residents.
• Assist in supervision of nursing aides and health attendants.
• Perform nursing procedures including administration of medications, wound dressing and meal feeding.
• Ensure residents' comfort and personal hygiene (bed bath/shower bath, changing clothes, tidiness of room).
• Identify symptoms related to illnesses or decline in function and advocate early medical attention.
• Mentor and guide nursing aides and healthcare attendants in performing duties.
• Educate family members on residents' health conditions and holistic care.
• Maintain documentation of residents' cases.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Nurse Manager/Assistant Director of Nursing.
