About the role

We are seeking secondary school level AEIS English Teachers to join our team at Ruisheng Education Centre (3 mins walk from Clarke Quay MRT). You will teach English to international students preparing for the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) to gain entry into Singapore government schools.

What you'll be doing

• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons for secondary-level AEIS students.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials aligned with the AEIS syllabus.
• Monitor students' academic progress and provide timely feedback to students and Head of Academic
• Mark assignments and mock examination papers.
• Maintain accurate student records and attendance.
• Work closely with the academic team to continuously improve teaching materials and classroom outcomes.
• Foster a positive, encouraging and disciplined learning environment.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience (experience teaching secondary English or AEIS students is an advantage).
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Passionate about teaching and committed to helping students achieve their academic goals.
• Able to adapt teaching methods to suit students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds.
• Responsible, organized and a good team player.

Working Hours

• Monday to Wednesday: 10:00am - 7:00pm (Where there are no scheduled morning lessons, teachers may work remotely from 10:00am to 12:00pm, subject to operational requirements.)
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
• Rest Days: Thursday & Friday
