Job summary

Ruisheng Institute invites passionate English teachers to join our growing team in Singapore. You will deliver engaging AEIS-focused English lessons, prepare AEIS-aligned materials, and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and the Head of Academic.

A strong command of English and a commitment to student success are essential. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field and at least 3 years of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Education, Linguistics or related field.
• 3+ years of teaching experience, AEIS experience preferred.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons for AEIS-focused students.

About the role

Ruisheng Institute is looking for passionate and dedicated English Teachers to join our growing team. You will teach English to international students preparing for the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) to gain entry into Singapore government schools.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons for secondary-level AEIS students
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the AEIS syllabus
• Monitor students' academic progress and provide timely feedback to students and Head of Academic
• Mark assignments and mock examination papers
• Maintain accurate student records and attendance
• Work closely with the academic team to continuously improve teaching materials and classroom outcomes
• Foster a positive, encouraging and disciplined learning environment

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of teaching experience (experience teaching secondary English or AEIS students is an advantage)
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Passionate about teaching and committed to helping students achieve their academic goals
• Able to adapt teaching methods to suit students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds
• Responsible, organized and a good team player

Working Hours

• Monday to Wednesday: 10:00am - 7:00pm (Where there are no scheduled morning lessons, teachers may work remotely from 10:00am to 12:00pm, subject to operational requirements.)
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
• Rest Days: Thursday & Friday
