Job summary

Seagate Technology in Woodlands, Singapore seeks a hands-on engineer to support production lines, ensuring process flow, specifications and documentation. You will monitor process variables, diagnose issues quickly, and assist with process improvements during night shifts.

The role requires a technical diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic engineering, willingness to work in a clean room, and to operate on a 12-hour night schedule. On-site teamwork and participation in audits are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or related engineering diploma.
• Willing to work in clean room environment.
• Willing to work 12-hour night shift (7.30pm–7.45am).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to production line by ensuring process flow, specifications, procedures and documentation.
• Monitor process variables and make adjustments as required.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot routine or minor problems quickly and effectively.
• Perform process buy-off after equipment preventive maintenance or breakdowns.
• Document routine manufacturing processes and report data for shift pass-down.
• Assist process engineer with experiments for process improvement.
• Contribute to continuous improvement on OEE.
• Assist in training and certification for MS and new EA personnel.
• Aid in audit preparation.

About Our Group

We are a dynamic process team to provide sputter engineering support to hard disk media production with the objective of ensuring compliance and conformance to process procedures

About The Role - You Will

• Provide engineering support to production line by ensuring process flow, specification, procedure and documentation
• Monitor any variables within the process and make the adjustments when required
• Quick and effective diagnosis and troubleshooting of routine or minor problems
• Perform process buy-off after equipment preventive maintenance or breaks down
• Document routine manufacturing processes and report data for shift duty pass-down
• Conduct or assist the process engineer in carrying out experiments with the objectives of process improvement
• Continuous improvement on OEE
• Training and certification for MS and new EA personnel
• Assist in Audit preparation

About You

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or related Engineering Diploma
• Self-motivated and positive working attitude.
• Team player with good problem-solving skill.
• Willing to work in clean room environment.
• Willing to work on 12hr (7.30pm to 7.45am) night shift pattern
