Job summary

PSA Singapore Procurement is seeking a professional for strategic sourcing and procurement of engineering-related components and services. You will collaborate with internal departments to define tender strategies, prepare detailed tender documents, and draft robust contracts safeguarding PSA interests.

Responsibilities include evaluating proposals, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring post-contract performance.

Qualifications

Degree with 3–4 years in sourcing and procurement
Proficient understanding of strategic sourcing, tendering, contract management and governance
Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to influence
Experience with e-procurement platforms (Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Zycus) preferred

Responsibilities

Collaborate with user departments to define tender strategies that meet PSA’s requirements for cost effectiveness and quality.
Prepare robust tender documents with clear and detailed specifications.
Draft and finalize contracts that articulate deliverables, responsibilities and liabilities.
Conduct evaluation of proposals and lead negotiations to secure sound agreements.
Complete tenders on time and perform post-contract management with stakeholders to ensure supplier obligations.
Identify and manage risks during the contract tenure.
Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive procurement excellence.
Contribute to procurement process improvements for efficiency.
