Job summary

PLATFORM&CO PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Software Manager/Engineering Manager to lead a skilled team in designing and delivering scalable, high-quality digital solutions. You will guide both technical direction and people leadership across the full SDLC.

Responsibilities include driving modern practices (Gen-AI, CI/CD, automated testing), API design, cloud/DevOps, and security-by-design, while collaborating with Product, QA, UX/UI and stakeholders to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in software management or leadership.
• Proven experience leading software teams in large-scale enterprise or technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing software engineering team with collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Own end-to-end delivery of large-scale software projects with quality, timely execution, and risk management.
• Provide technical direction across the SDLC, from design to testing, deployment and enhancement.
• Promote modern practices: Gen-AI, CI/CD, code reviews, automated testing, and engineering standards.
• Oversee design/development of scalable web/mobile apps, microservices, and enterprise platforms.
• Lead API design and system integrations for reliable connectivity.
• Promote cloud and DevOps: automation, deployment, monitoring, scalability, reliability.
• Ensure security-by-design across the lifecycle and compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, UX/UI, Infrastructure, stakeholders and partners on release planning.
• Monitor performance, progress, delivery metrics, and technology initiatives for senior management.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve engineering practices and digital capabilities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of architecture, processes, and engineering practices.
