Precision Engineering Solutions & Services Company in Singapore is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the manufacturing and process engineering teams, aligning priorities with production schedules, quality targets, and business goals.

The role partners with plant management on long-term strategy, including capacity planning, automation, and facility layouts, while driving Lean practices and data-driven improvements across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, including 3+ years managing or supervising technical teams.
• Hands-on CAD experience (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and data tools (Excel/Power BI).
• Working knowledge of ERP/MES systems for BOMs and production routing.
• Skilled in structured problem-solving frameworks (8D, DMAIC)

Responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing and process engineering team.
• Align engineering priorities with production schedules, quality targets, and business goals.
• Partner with plant management on long-term strategy, including capacity planning, automation, and facility layouts.
• Analyze production data to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce downtime, and cut defects.
• Drive Lean manufacturing practices, including standardized work, error-proofing, and fast equipment changeovers.
• Partner with Production to fix daily shop-floor issues and boost output.
• Work with Quality to resolve product defects, solve root causes, and run corrective action plans.
• Maintain clear communication across internal departments and external customers.
• Keep equipment records, work instructions, plant layouts, and master document files up to date.
• Define technical standards for materials, engineering tolerances, and vendor approvals.
