Job summary

GetGo Technologies in Singapore is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a full-stack engineering team across web, mobile, and QA. You will drive architectural decisions, roadmap planning, and ensure quality and speed across product lines.

The role requires strong leadership, deep full-stack knowledge, and a collaborative, metrics-driven approach. You will partner with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering Leadership to deliver scalable, secure systems.

Qualifications

• Nine-plus years in software development, with at least four in leadership.
• Experience leading multi-level, full-stack teams.
• Strong QA mindset with test automation and quality practices.
• Ability to translate business priorities into engineering roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a multi-level, full-stack engineering team, including TLs, Sr. Engineers and QA, mentoring for growth.
• Own quarterly planning and resourcing, translating priorities into a multi-product roadmap.
• Partner with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering Leadership to align priorities and architectural feasibility.
• Drive architecture decisions across frontend, backend, and mobile platforms for scalable, secure systems.
• Champion QA strategy and embedding quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Improve engineering and QA processes with CI/CD, testing, and documentation.
• Monitor progress against OKRs, manage risks and keep stakeholders informed.

The Engineering Manager is a critical role in leading and growing a full-stack engineering team at GetGo — driving technical excellence across our front-end and back-end systems, web and mobile platforms, and QA practices, while shaping the engineering culture and ensuring GetGo's products are delivered with quality and speed across multiple product lines.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Lead and grow a multi-level, full-stack engineering team, including Technical Leads, Senior Engineers, and QA Engineers, hiring, coaching, and upskilling engineers toward full-stack capability, and building a culture of mentorship and technical excellence.
• Own quarter-by-quarter planning and resource allocation for your team, translating business priorities into a sequenced roadmap that balances short-term delivery with long-term technical sustainability across multiple product lines.
• Partner with Product Managers, Design, QA, and Engineering Leadership to align priorities and secure buy-in on technical feasibility and architectural decisions.
• Drive architectural decisions and implementation strategy across front-end, back-end, and mobile (iOS/Android) for GetGo Group platforms, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and reliable.
• Champion the QA function for your team, setting test strategy and quality standards, and embedding a culture where quality is built in rather than caught at the end.
• Elevate engineering and QA process efficiency, institutionalizing best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, and documentation, pioneering the adoption of AI-augmented tools, and leveraging key metrics to guide improvements.
• Monitor delivery progress against quarterly OKRs, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, and keeping stakeholders informed.

What Makes You A Great Fit

• Proven Engineering Leadership: 9+ years in software development with 4+ years in a leadership role, demonstrating success in managing high-performing, multi-level full-stack engineering teams.
• Full-Stack Mastery: Strong proficiency across front-end (TypeScript, React, Svelte or equivalent) and back-end technologies (APIs and services, data layer, distributed systems), with experience owning scalable, secure, cloud-native architectures end-to-end; familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS/Android) is a plus, including experience with cross-platform frameworks (e.g. React Native, Flutter).
• QA & Quality Mindset: Solid grounding in QA methodology and test automation, with a track record of elevating testing practices, coverage, and release quality to ensure a high-quality, reliable consumer experience.
• Strategic Manager: Expert at resource planning and capacity management, with a track record of driving delivery within Agile environments, JIRA-based workflows, and quarterly planning cycles.
• Continuous Learner: Genuine curiosity for emerging technologies and tools, including AI-augmented development, with a track record of evaluating and adopting them to keep your team's practices current.
• Influential Communicator: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and build consensus across Product, Design, and QA teams.
