Job summary

Singtel in Singapore is seeking an Associate Director of Engineering to lead end-to-end development, strategy, and operations for Cast.sg, Insurance Application, Regional Rewards, and the Open Platform. The role focuses on scaling teams, modernizing architecture, and driving execution across a multi-application environment.

You will drive technical strategy, SDLC governance, and vendor relationships while ensuring high availability, security, and performance on AWS.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering.
• 5+ years in engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive technical strategy and architecture for the application ecosystem (Customer-facing and Platform).
• Lead multiple engineering teams, mentor leaders, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery across SDLC.
• Own vendor management, including SLAs, due diligence, and cost optimization with key partners.
• Oversee Open Platform and customer-facing apps, aligning priorities across portfolios and regions.
• Promote best-in-class engineering practices (CI/CD, Observability, automated testing) and security.
