Job summary

Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. is seeking an Analyst/Associate in Internal Audit to assess engineering processes, data flows and related controls.

You will work on engagements across Global Banking & Markets, Asset & Wealth Management, and other functions, applying independent assurance and analytical skills. You will evaluate control design, monitor remediation, and collaborate with global teams to address risk and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Analyst/Associate with 1+ year (Analyst) or 3+ years (Associate) of relevant audit/engineering experience.
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance or Risk Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand business and engineering processes, including platforms, data flows, system architecture, and workflows.
• Identify engineering, data, cyber, operational and regulatory risks.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Review application controls, entitlement processes, change management, incident management, data quality and resiliency controls.
• Evaluate risks with cloud, third‑party services, automation, and AI‑enabled development.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, exceptions and control issues.
• Document audit work with evidence and clear conclusions.
• Communicate observations to stakeholders and collaborate for timely remediation.
