Job summary

Goldman Sachs Internal Audit’s Foundation Engineering / Tech Risk and Cybersecurity team in Singapore seeks an Associate to evaluate technology and cybersecurity controls across the firm's infrastructure. You will design and execute audits, assess cloud, identity, and data protection controls, and communicate findings clearly to technology stakeholders.

The role requires 4+ years in technology audit or cybersecurity risk, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP and regulatory

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in technology audit, cybersecurity audit, technology risk, information security, engineering risk, or a related field.
• Good understanding of technology and cybersecurity risks and controls, with exposure to cloud computing, infrastructure, OS, networks, IAM, vulnerability management, cybersecurity monitoring, or resilience.
• Ability to translate technical architectures and processes into risks and audit procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate technical evidence.

Responsibilities

• Execute technology and cybersecurity audits covering infrastructure, platforms, cloud environments, and other foundational technology services.
• Understand complex technology environments and architectures, identify risks, and evaluate control design and operating effectiveness.
• Assess controls across IAM, infrastructure and platform security, cloud security, vulnerability and patch management, configuration management, logging and monitoring, data protection, resilience, and incident management.
• Apply risk mindset to evolving technology risks including cloud adoption, automation, and emerging tech.
• Collaborate with technology stakeholders and global Internal Audit teams to understand implementations and communicate observations clearly.
• Consider regulatory requirements and industry standards applicable in APAC region when assessing controls.
