Job summary

ENVIRODYNAMICS SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on NPI support engineer to assist Industrialization Engineers in bringing new products into manufacturing.

The role focuses on optimizing processes and layouts, documenting workflows, and preparing production readiness for volume production. You will gather data on manufacturing processes, support prototype/pilot builds, and contribute to cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITE in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks on schedule and follow specifications.
• Basic problem-solving and process improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Support NPI and continuation engineering projects.
• Document production floor layouts and create DWIs and process diagrams.
• Collect data on manufacturing processes and assist with prototype/pilot builds.
• Apply general problem-solving to support process improvements and cost reduction projects.
• Collaborate across teams, communicate effectively with diverse technical and cultural groups.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on support role in the New Product Introduction (NPI) team. The candidate will assist Industrialization Engineers in bringing new products into manufacturing, ensuring processes and layouts are optimized, documented, and ready for production. It’s a technical, process-oriented role focused on manufacturing assembly and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Industrialization Engineers on NPI and continuation engineering projects.
• Document production floor layouts and create work instructions (DWI) and process diagrams.
• Collect data on manufacturing processes and assist with prototype/pilot builds.
• Apply general problem-solving to support process improvements and cost reduction projects.
• Collaborate across teams, communicate effectively with diverse technical and cultural groups.
• Use facts and logic to influence decisions and support team objectives.

Technical & Software Skills

• Knowledge of manufacturing assembly processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio (or equivalent), and email tools.
• Able to document, analyze, and support manufacturing workflows.

Experience & Education

• Diploma/ITE in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related fields.
