Job summary

BorgWarner Singapore Holdings Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop, implement and improve product quality plans.

You will provide quality engineering documentation and participate in quality system, product, and process/ESD audits across manufacturing. You will support manufacturing in diagnosing and preventing issues, assist warranty processes and CAPA follow-up, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics) required.
• Knowledge of quality engineering tools is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of SMT process is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of PCBA assembly process is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Bulk capacitor fabrication process is an added advantage.
• Fresh Grad or with experience.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to challenge the status quo and relentlessly drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Direct interface with supplier on resolving new material quality issues.
• Perform special projects.
• To adhere to the Health & Safety regulations as set out by the EHS Department and any other Government regulations.
