Job summary

BORGWARNER SINGAPORE HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. is seeking a candidate in Singapore for a role focused on troubleshooting and repairing production equipment. You will be responsible for improving production hardware and control software, as well as identifying process problems to enhance quality.

The ideal candidate should hold a diploma in Electrical Engineering and have at least 3 years of similar experience in the manufacturing industry. Shift work is required as well as a team-oriented attitude.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Trouble shoot and repair or faulty production equipment
• Improve and upgrading of Production equipment hardware and control (software)
• Identify and rectify process problem for quality improvement / scrap reduction
• Updated and control of equipment spare parts
• Installation and qualification of new processes and equipment
• Support new program / model start-up
• Support Production Overtime in weekday , weekend , Sunday and Public Holiday
• Minimizing machine downtime , scrap raw materials / products
• Maintaining correct spare parts inventory and product quality
• Communicating with production operators / supervisor and other support group
