Job summary

Tex-Star Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Applications Programmer to develop and maintain software for mechanical engineering design, analysis, and manufacturing. You will collaborate with mechanical engineers, integrate with CAD/MES/ERP systems, and automate engineering workflows.

Strong programming skills in Python/C++/Java (MATLAB) and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and version control are essential. Prior exposure to CAD tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level equivalent education is not required if you have relevant experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years as applications programmer or software developer in engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience with CAD/CAM/CAE or similar engineering software is highly desirable.
• Scripting for automation and integration with engineering tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain custom software for mechanical engineering design, analysis, simulation, and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to understand software needs and deliver efficient solutions.
• Integrate applications with CAD, MES, and ERP systems and provide user support.
