Job summary

UTAC Singapore is seeking an IT/Systems Engineer to manage and support production testers, probers, handlers and servers. You will configure systems, install OS, monitor resources, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with IT on backups and recovery.

You will design networks for secure device production, manage access control, and oversee system controls for logs and test equipment, including antivirus deployment. Degree in CS/IT/CE required; semiconductor ATE experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science / IT / Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in installing and maintaining applications and operating systems.
• Knowledge in network troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge in application development and programming skill.
• Experience in semiconductor ATE such as Teradyne, Advantest, WS Prober, Handler.

Responsibilities

• Set up systems, install and upgrade OS, configure test environments for production testers, probers, handlers and servers.
• Monitor and verify integrity, maintain efficiency and availability of TEST and EOL system resources.
• Troubleshoot testers and servers OS, software and app issues.
• Coordinate IT on production data backup, archival, restoration and recovery.
• Supervise test systems administration and ensure policy compliance.
• Design, plan and deploy customized networks for secure production.
• Manage user access control for production and engineering needs.
• First-level investigation on network issues and work with IT for recovery.
• Manage customers’ test programs in production for integrity protection.
• Automation of test program transfer for integrity control.
• Design, develop, deploy and maintain system control for equipment logs and recipes.
• Manage antivirus client installation and monitoring virus protection on equipment PCs.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Perform system setup, OS installation and upgrades, test environment configuration of production Testers, Probers, Handlers and servers
• Perform daily monitoring, verifying integrity, maintaining efficiency and availability of TEST and EOL system resources to support Operation
• Troubleshoot testers and servers OS, software and application related issues
• Manage and coordinates with IT on production data backup, archival, restoration and recovery
• Supervise and monitor Test systems’ administration and control are carried out in compliance with internal policies, guidelines and standard
• Design, plan and deploy customized network to meet customers’ needs in secure device production and information security protection
• Manage external and internal user access control to network and work station for production and engineering needs
• Perform first level investigation on network related issue and work with IT for recovery
• Management of customers’ test programs in production for integrity protection which include program revision control
• Automation of test program transfer for program integrity control
• Design, development, deployment and maintenance of system control in managing equipment logs and recipe for test equipment
• Manage antivirus client application installation and monitoring virus protection on equipment PC
