Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a skilled Validation/Software Engineer to design and implement cross-platform APIs for Enterprise SSD validation and characterization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Solid experience in object-oriented programming concepts; Python preferred.
• Working experience in Windows or Linux stack/kernel/driver is highly desired.
• Good knowledge of system storage, PCIe, drivers, OS, firmware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cross-platform APIs for Enterprise SSD validation and characterization.
• Develop and integrate the APIs of new test equipment/tools for test automation.
• Define, plan and execute a test automation strategy to contribute to in-house frameworks/tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust test designs based on new feature or customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot SSD and software integration issues, perform root-cause analysis and reproduce failures.
• Maintain documentation on test methodologies, workflows and results for future traceability and reference.
• Explore AI opportunities to streamline workflows and enable data-driven decision making.
