Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Reliability Engineer to define and implement robust reliability stress tests and qualification plans for DRAM/HBM products. You will drive root-cause analysis, optimize test flows, and collaborate with Fab, R&D, and Quality teams to ensure high yield and product reliability.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled reliability workflows, mentorship, and cross-functional project leadership in a fast-paced semiconductor environment in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in semiconductor devices, circuit design, or product validation is a plus.
• Familiarity with CMOS technology, DRAM architecture, and basic device physics.
• Exposure to data analysis, statistics, and scripting tools such as Python or JMP.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in team-based projects, contributing to shared goals and outcomes.
• Flexible and eager to learn, with a willingness to take on diverse roles in a dynamic engineering environment.
• Responsible and accountable, with a professional work ethic and ownership of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Reliability Test Flow Development: Define and develop reliability stress, test flows and test plans to cover all Product Reliability aspects.
• Reliability Test Plan and Execution: Define qualification plan, review and manage execution progress, and resolve gating issues.
• DPM reduction: Achieve Extrinsic/Intrinsic Reliability via optimized test flows and strategy to meet KPI targets.
• Root Cause & Resolution: Debug failures in reliability tests using EFA and PFA and drive cross-functional improvements.
• Process Conversions and HVM: Recommend process conversions to fab teams to reduce cost and increase yields.
• Risk Management: Communicate with Product Managers to manage risks with DPM conversions.
• Promotion of Innovation: Drive changes for competitive technical advantage; promote AI/automation in reliability workflows.
• Mentorship and Development: Mentor team members and support skill growth.
• Project Management: Develop project management skills to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Technical Decision Making: Make final calls on risk analysis and project prioritization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Fab, HBM Tech Development, HBM Design, System Development, and Quality/Reliability teams.
• AI-First Mindset & Mentorship: Leverage AI in reliability workflows as standard practice.

This is critical as it directly impacts the yield, quality, reliability, and performance of HBM products, which are key components in many modern technologies.Risk Management: The role requires communication with Product Managers/Leads to manage risks associated with DPM process conversions.
