Job summary

Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa in Singapore invites an Engineer/Senior Engineer to lead and coach the engineering team, ensuring reliable hotel operations and proactive maintenance. You will monitor facilities, minimize downtime, and respond swiftly to urgent maintenance requests to keep guests comfortable.

The role requires experience in hotel building services and a Diploma/Certificate in relevant engineering fields, with willingness to work shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical engineering, building maintenance and repair in a hotel or resort environment.
• Experience as Engineer or equivalent in a hotel or building environment.
• Willingness to work shifts.
• Diploma or Certificate in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach engineering technicians to enhance team performance and ensure effective maintenance operations.
• Monitor and maintain hotel equipment to achieve continuous, smooth functionality and minimize downtime.
• Prioritize and execute emergency work requests promptly to resolve critical issues and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Plan, supervise, and execute engineering projects to support hotel infrastructure improvements and operational goals.
• Facilitate audit and training programs to uphold compliance standards and enhance team skills.
• Manage shift operations to ensure consistent engineering support and smooth hotel functioning.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Experience in electrical engineering, building maintenance, and repair within a hotel or resort environment
• Previous experience as an Engineer or equivalent role in a hotel or building environment
• Willingness to work shifts
• Possess a minimum in Diploma or Certificate in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, or equivalent
