Job summary

L&K Engineering (Suzhou) Singapore Branch seeks a Mechanical/Electrical/Construction professional to coordinate daily hook-up construction activities and supervise subcontractors at Tampines project sites. The role requires liaising with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of semiconductor-related experience, strong English and Mandarin communication, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
• At least 2 years in semiconductor, cleanroom, high-tech industrial or M&E construction
• Experience in semiconductor tool hookup, process piping or high-purity gas/chemical systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily hook-up construction activities, subcontractors, manpower, materials, and equipment
• Monitor progress, productivity, and installation quality per drawings, specs, and schedules
• Review drawings and technical documents; resolve site issues with stakeholders
• Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors and internal teams for timely delivery
• Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship, safety, quality, and installation readiness
• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, EHS requirements, QA/QC standards, and company policies
• Support testing, commissioning, system turnover and handover activities
• Prepare progress reports and management updates, highlight risks and resource constraints
• Other duties as assigned

Job description

• Location: Tampines
• Working Hours: 5 days per week (Mon to Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Willingness to commit to extended hours and night shift when required

Job Description

• Coordinate and supervise daily hook-up construction activities, subcontractors, manpower, materials, and equipment to support project execution
• Monitor project progress, productivity, and installation quality to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules
• Review construction drawings and technical documents, resolve site technical issues, and coordinate engineering clarifications with relevant stakeholders
• Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and timely resolution of project issues
• Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship, safety, quality, and installation readiness
• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, client EHS requirements, QA/QC standards, and company policies.
• Support testing, commissioning, system turnover, and project handover activities
• Prepare progress reports, project documentation, and management updates, while highlighting project risks, delays, and resource constraints
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, high-tech industrial, or M&E construction projects
• Experience in semiconductor tool hook-up, process piping, high-purity gas, chemical systems, or facility installation projects will be an advantage
• Familiarity with wafer fabrication plant environments is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple stakeholders effectively
• The candidate must be fluent in both Mandarin and English to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Candidates with good experience will be considered for a higher role, and the salary will be commensurate accordingly
