Job Summary
Lead process improvement efforts and manage the entire lifecycle of process, equipment, and material evaluation and optimization initiatives. Oversee new equipment qualification, continuous yield improvement, cost reduction, and new product introduction activities. Drive data analysis, statistical process control, and AI‑enabled tools to support decision making and quality management.
Responsibilities
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve process and equipment related problems.
- Coordinate and execute process, equipment, and material evaluation/optimization initiatives and implement changes at process step.
- Lead or support the new equipment qualification for new technology development and production ramp.
- Lead or participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities.
- Validate and fan‑out new process baselines, including tools and materials for new product introduction.
- Support SPC/FDC/RMS/APC activities and manage audit of material suppliers.
- Define processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications; review processing techniques and methods applied in manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation.
- Participate in design requirement review with cross‑functional teams to ensure compatibility with processing methods.
- Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.
- Integrate AI‑assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness.
- Identify, test, and share AI‑enabled enhancements within scope of work.
Other Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain MES‑related databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Analyze system data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Knowledge of AI tools and application.
Must Have Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset.
- Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and quality teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
Preferred Skills or Experience
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and automation tools.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science.

- Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact.
- Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron.
- Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly for research, analysis, and operational tasks.
