Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a data analytics specialist to improve manufacturing operations through modeling, data analytics, and AI-enabled insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply scheduling optimization, and translate complex data into actionable improvements that drive efficiency and quality.

Qualifications include advanced degree in analytics or related field, programming in Python/SQL/C#, and experience with cloud platforms

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science and Analytics, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Statistics or related field.
• Proficiency in basic programming skills preferably C#/Python/SQL and experience in cloud-based infrastructure such as GCP/AWS/Azure.
• Knowledge and experience in data analytics, business intelligence and machine learning is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience in Manufacturing Operation, Scheduling Optimization, Capacity/Cycle Time Modelling is a plus.
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron.

Responsibilities

• Use knowledge of modeling, operation research, data analytics, machine learning and web application to improve complex manufacturing operation efficiency and capabilities.
• Communicate effectively on approach and methodology in developing analytics, reporting solution and scheduling optimization.
• Demonstrate sound project management skills in requirement gathering, resource estimation, time management, stakeholders' engagement and deliverables deliveries.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Participate in multi-area focus teams to improve complex constraint in manufacturing operation.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present project/approach/data in meetings with varying level of stakeholders.
• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
