Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks an Industrial Engineering professional to develop forecasting models for Fab operations, coordinate global teams, and drive data‑driven improvements using AI tools.

You will analyze changes, communicate risks to leadership, and pursue productivity enhancements through automation and process optimization. You should bring a bachelor’s in engineering, strong communication, and a curiosity for semiconductors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
  • Good communication skills and collaborative mindset to drive actions with stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of coding/programming.
  • Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron.
  • Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem-solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Apply Industrial Engineering concepts and logic towards development of forecasting models covering Facility bulk utility usage and/or other Fab metrics to meet the Fab operation requirements.
  • Managing and coordinating various departments and global sites in own field of modelling work, working pro-actively and collaboratively to identify areas of improvement and actionable items to achieve the best outcome for the company
  • Understand the impact to the metrics driven by scenario changes through data analysis and overall understanding of modelling and engineering concepts.
  • Communicate well to both upper management and downstream stakeholders on impact and risks towards Fab operations, driven by data analysis and logic.
  • Exploring and working on improvement projects related to own field of modelling work, such as leveraging on available automation tools to drive productivity.
  • Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment andcomplying withorganizational standards and legal requirements.
  • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement byidentifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
