Job summary

HTX, Singapore's Science and Technology agency, seeks a professional to review protective security works and provide technical advisory on Physical Protective Infrastructure. The role supports Security-By-Design under IPA and requires strong analytical and writing capabilities.

You will contribute to standards development, train CPS staff, and collaborate with Home Team departments in a dynamic security environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree / Master's in Engineering.
• Preferably with at least two years' working experience in security-related industry.
• Knowledge of protective security, particularly in Physical Protective Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and inspecting protective security works related to Physical Protective Infrastructure under IPA in support of Security-By-Design (SBD).
• Provide technical advisory and consultancy to Home Team Departments and Home-front agencies on security issues related to Physical Protective Infrastructure and mitigation measures.
• Carry out technical studies to establish and enhance Protective Infrastructure standards and guidelines.
• Develop course content and serve as adjunct trainer for Physical Protective Infrastructure related courses conducted by CPS.

The candidate will be forward deployed to the Centre for Protective Security (CPS), which is a department under the Singapore Police Force.

What You Will Be Working On

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following duties:

• Responsible for reviewing and inspecting protective security works related to Physical Protective Infrastructure (Hostile Vehicle Mitigation Measures, Forced Entry Protection, Perimeter Security, Collective Protection, Ballistic Protection etc.) in support of Security-By-Design (SBD) process under Infrastructure Protection Act (IPA).
• Provide technical advisory and consultancy to Home Team Departments and Home-front agencies on security issues related to Physical Protective Infrastructure and mitigation measures.
• Carry out technical studies to establish and enhance Protective Infrastructure standards and guidelines.
