Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated engineer to support lab enablement and reliability testing across our sites in Singapore.

You will coordinate with Facilities and GEL to qualify new equipment, maintain the process of record, and define control plans to prevent excursions while preserving product integrity. You will analyze process data, drive corrective actions, and integrate AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering with focus on mechanical or electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor backend or reliability lab processes.
  • Understanding of reliability tests (thermal, humidity, cycling, reflow).
  • Knowledge of quality systems, process control and audit requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Open to candidates with 0–1 year experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead lab enablement for new equipment or layout changes with Facilities and GEL.
  • Maintain POR for reliability tests ensuring SOPs and quality systems.
  • Define process windows, control plans, and reaction mechanisms to prevent excursions.
  • Collaborate with Automation Engineers to reduce manual touchpoints.
  • Support audits with proper documentation and records.
  • Analyze process data to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
  • Integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work with sound judgment.
  • Promote continuous improvement and share AI-enabled enhancements.

Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • New lab enablement. Lead qualification and process buyoff for new equipment or layout changes; coordinate with Facilities and GEL in enablement.

  • Maintain and improve process of record (POR) for assigned reliability tests, ensuring adherence to SOPs and quality management systems.

  • Define process windows, control plans, and reaction mechanisms to prevent excursions and maintain product integrity.

  • Partner with Automation Engineers to implement error-proofing measures and reduce manual touchpoints.

  • Support audits by maintaining accurate documentation, training records, and compliance evidence.

  • Analyze process performance data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions for continuous improvement . statistical and AI‑assisted techniques

  • Integrates AI‑assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness,exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.

  • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabledenhancements within one’s scope of work.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, or any related engineering discipline.

  • Understanding in semiconductor backend or reliability lab processes

  • Understanding in reliability tests such as thermal/humidity stress, temperature cycling, and reflow; and/or device reliability test such as HTOL, ELFR, HNBTI etc.

  • Familiarity with quality systems, process control, and audit requirements.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • A mindset that emphasizes continuous improvement, and striving for excellence.

  • Candidates with 0-1 year of experience are welcome to apply

Preferred Skills
  • Experience in greenfield lab setup and enablement is preferred.

  • Exposure to lab automation and integration with MES or AMHS systems will be an advantage

  • Basic scripting or data analysis skills (Python, SQL, Microsoft Power Platform, or similar), including familiarity with AI-workflow will be a plus

  • Experience with error-proofing techniques and process optimization.

  • Experience or interest in digitizing workflows (forms, approvals, dashboards) using low‑code or automation platforms

Work location
  • Willing to work at both Bendemeer site and woodlands site
