Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Knowledge of semiconductor fundamentals, circuit design, fabrication process and device physics.
• Programming skills in Perl, VBA, or C are a plus.
• Capable to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Study product and layout; analyze layout and convert to basic schematics.
• Understand circuit function and relate to failure signatures.
• Generate reports and highlight key issues.
• Perform Failure Characterization on Test and guide test engineering to setup test programs.
• Develop characterization plans to study failure signatures.
• Analyze data using statistical software such as Excel and JMP to determine die criticality.
• Study inline data or feedback from process/product engineering on suspected failures.
• Propose approaches to debugging and to trace analysis for failure mechanisms.
• Collaborate with designers to validate failure mechanisms.

Your Job:

• Product and layout study


• Be able to analyze layout and convert to basic schematics


• Understand circuit function and relate to failure signatures


• Generate report and highlight key issues


• Failure Characterization on Test


• Guide test engineering to setup test program for failure validation


• Develop characterization plan to study the failure signature


• Analyze the data using statistical software such as excel and JMP to determine criticality of fail dies


• Study inline data or process/product engineering feedback on fail suspects


• Propose possible approach to debug


• Debug on static and dynamic EFA


• Setup for static and dynamic EFA


• Able to perform sanity check of setup


• Able to interpret signal images


• Analysis and Collaboration


• Perform simple trace analysis to postulate PFA or nanoprobing region of Interest


• Collaborate with designers to propose failure mechanism for further failure analysis activities to validate

Required Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree electrical Knowledge.


• Knowledge on semiconductor fundamentals, Circuit design, fabrication process, device physics


• Programming knowledge is a plus (Perl, VBA, C language)


• Possess good working attitude and able to take ownership in projects


• Proactive to face and overcome roadblocks


• Capable to work independently as well as in a team.
