Job Summary
We are seeking a Facilities Electrical Engineer to lead engineering, maintenance, and the strategic development of on‑site electrical systems for advanced semiconductor manufacturing. The successful candidate will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance of electrical infrastructure, from high voltage to low voltage, while also driving continuous improvement and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion environmental, health, and safety compliance across all electrical operations.
- Conduct risk assessments and promote a culture of safety and operational discipline.
- Lead commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems from 230kV to low voltage, including emergency generators, dynamic UPS, and advanced power quality equipment.
- Provide expert‑level support for complex operational issues and lead root‑cause investigations using 8D problem‑solving methodologies.
- Oversee capacity planning, system performance analysis, and execution of expansion projects to enable site growth and production demands.
- Review and validate scope, schedule, and cost estimates for infrastructure upgrades.
- Provide engineering oversight and technical guidance during design and construction phases.
- Conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to eliminate single points of failure and enhance system resilience.
- Mentor and develop electrical engineers and technicians through structured training programs and hands‑on site engagement.
- Lead post‑incident reviews and drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions for system abnormalities.
- Drive strategic initiatives for system capacity expansion, reliability improvement, and energy efficiency.
- Spearhead the deployment of SMART power systems, predictive diagnostics, and digital tools to enhance team productivity and system intelligence.
- Integrate AI‑assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness while complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI‑enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
Job Requirements, Qualifications/Experience
- Master's, Bachelor’s, or advanced degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience in high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems design, maintenance, and operations within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency with HV/MV/LV systems, ETAP software, and IEC standards.
- Familiarity with SMART systems and predictive maintenance tools.
- Strong analytical, logical, and critical‑thinking skills.
- Effective communicator able to collaborate across all levels.
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
- Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact.
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments, and engineering statistical data analysis would be advantageous.
