Job summary

SILICON BOX is seeking an Electrical Simulation Engineer to lead electrical simulations for package electronics, including SiPi and high-speed digital areas. The role involves RF/EMC/EMI analyses and collaboration with design and test teams to optimize products and processes.

The candidate should have 5+ years in electrical simulation and hands-on experience with EDA tools, plus strong analytical and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in electrical simulation on internal and customer projects.
• Hands-on experience with EDA tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical simulations for SiPi and high-speed digital area at component and system levels.
• Simulate RF, EMI and EMC at component and system levels.
• Provide technical input to support product design and process optimization.
• Provide electrical inputs for mechanical simulation, including thermal and stress analysis.
• Prepare simulation reports with data analysis, findings and recommendations.
• Perform other ad-hoc activities as assigned by the reporting manager.

The Electrical Simulation Engineer is responsible for product package electrical simulation.

Candidates with semiconductor packaging experience are encouraged to apply for this position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical simulations for SiPi and high-speed digital area at component and system levels.


• Conduct simulations on RF, EMI and EMC at component and system levels.


• Provide technical input and recommendations to support product design and process optimization.


• Provide electrical inputs for mechanical simulation, including thermal and stress analysis.


• Prepare simulation reports, including data analysis, findings, and recommendations.


• Other ad-hoc activities as assigned by the reporting manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.


• At least 5 years of experience in electrical simulation, including both internal and external/ customer projects.
