Job summary

AEM Singapore Pte Ltd seeks an Electrical Engineer with 2-3 years' experience to join our engineering team. You will support design, integration, testing, and validation of electrical systems for semiconductor equipment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable engineering solutions, and assist in equipment assembly, debugging, and customer-site support when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical design, automation, or semiconductor equipment.
• Basic understanding of power distribution (AC/DC), control systems, and electrical integration.
• Experience in semiconductor, automation, or equipment manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of electrical systems and sub-systems for semiconductor equipment.
• Assist in defining electrical interlock, control, and power distribution system requirements.
• Perform integration, testing, and validation of electrical systems and components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues including wiring, grounding, and signal integrity.
• Support PCB-related integration, I/O interfaces, and control system components.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to ensure design specifications are met.
• Participate in equipment assembly, debugging, and customer-site support when required.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety, and quality requirements.
