Job summary

TIONG SENG CONTRACTORS (Pte) Ltd is seeking an Engineer (C&S) to support project delivery across multiple disciplines. You will lead technical and site coordination to ensure design, schedule, and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include preparing shop drawings, MOS, progress claims, and project reports, planning structural sequencing, and coordinating with trades to align with the Master program. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognised by PE Board/BCA.
• 4-5 years of building engineering project experience; senior roles possible.
• Experience with precast, PPVC, or MET projects advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD; BIM knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan structural work sequencing and resource allocation across trades.
• Support procurement for structural subcontractors to ensure timely sourcing.

• Conduct inspections and maintain project documentation for compliance.
• Ensure TOP checklist readiness for handover and safety on site.

Job Summary

As an Engineer (C&S), you will support project delivery by leading technical and site coordination activities to ensure construction works meet design, schedule, and quality standards across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Planning Manager or Project Manager in resolving on-site technical and engineering challenges to maintain project progress and compliance
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials documentation, Method of Statement (MOS), monthly progress claims, and project management reports to support project tracking and approvals
• Plan and sequence structural work and allocate resources, coordinating micro-schedules with other trades and disciplines to align with the Master program
• Contribute inputs for procurement processes related to structural work subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing
• Monitor progress of structural, architectural, and M&E works using scheduling tools to identify and address delays or issues proactively
• Supervise site execution to enforce compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and contractual specifications
• Conduct inspections and maintain detailed documentation to verify adherence to project requirements and quality benchmarks
• Ensure compliance with Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) checklist requirements to facilitate project handover readiness
• Promote and enforce environmental, health, and safety (EHS) practices consistently on site to maintain a safe working environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognized by PE Board/BCA
• 4-5 years of experience in building engineering projects; candidates with greater experience may be considered for senior engineer roles
• Experience with Precast, Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC), or Modular Engineering Technology (MET) projects
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and a positive work attitude
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Demonstrated analytical, supervision, and communication skills to manage complex project demands
• Completion of Quality Management (QM) projects and registration as a Core-trade Foreman or Supervisor is an advantage
