Job summary

VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (VSMC) seeks a seasoned BI & Analytics professional to design and implement reporting solutions for wafer fabrication operations. You will build automated reports and real-time dashboards to support decision‑making and monitor KPIs across the fab.

Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Yield Engineering, and IT to ensure data governance, KPI definitions, and reliable data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or CS/Data Analytics/related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in a semiconductor wafer fabrication environment is preferred.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Experience developing BI dashboards and reporting solutions for manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement BI reporting solutions to support wafer fabrication operations and decision‑making.
• Develop automated reports and data visualization solutions to improve operational visibility and performance monitoring.
• Design, develop, and maintain real-time OCC dashboards to monitor wafer fab performance.
• Track KPIs such as WIP, equipment utilization, cycle time, throughput, yield, and production status.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing (MFG), Process Engineering (PE), Equipment Engineering (EE), Industrial Engineering (IE), Yield Engineering, and IT to deliver analytics and ensure data governance.
• Ensure reporting standards and KPI definitions are consistently applied across the fab.

Job description

1.Business Intelligence & Reporting Solutions

• Design, develop, and implement Business Intelligence (BI) reporting solutions to support wafer fabrication operations and business decision‑making.
• Develop automated reports and data visualization solutions to improve operational visibility and performance monitoring.

2.Operation Command Center (OCC) Dashboard Development

• Design, develop, and maintain real‑time dashboards for the Operation Command Center (OCC) to monitor 12‑inch wafer fab manufacturing performance.
• Develop dashboards that track key manufacturing KPIs such as WIP, equipment utilization, cycle time, throughput, yield, and production status.

3.Data Platform Monitoring & Maintenance

• Monitor and maintain reporting systems, databases, ETL processes, and BI applications to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and system availability.
• Troubleshoot data quality and reporting issues, and implement continuous improvements to enhance system performance.

4.Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing (MFG), Process Engineering (PE), Equipment Engineering (EE), Industrial Engineering (IE), Yield Engineering, and IT teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective analytics solutions.
• Ensure reporting standards, data governance, and KPI definitions are consistently applied across the fab.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Management, Information Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 5–10 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in a semiconductor wafer fabrication environment is preferred.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, and VBA.
• Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience developing BI dashboards and reporting solutions for manufacturing operations.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Technical skills (at least one of the following is required):

• Python programming for data analytics and automation (e.g., NumPy, Pandas).
• ETL development and data integration using PL/SQL, Kettle (Pentaho Data Integration), or similar ETL tools.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing systems (MES, SPC, APC, EAP, Factory Automation) and manufacturing data analytics.
