Job summary

USER EXPERIENCE RESEARCHERS PTE. LTD is seeking a capable Data & BI Engineer to design and maintain ETL pipelines, build scalable data models, and develop interactive dashboards. You will ensure data quality and governance while optimizing performance across cloud platforms.

Responsibilities include creating self-service BI solutions, automating reports, and collaborating with teams to translate business needs into robust analytics solutions using SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and modern ETL tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration (e.g., Apache NiFi).
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and analysis.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with a team.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is an added advantage.
• Experience with report tools such as Elixir report is an added advantage.

• Support upgrades, configuration, and troubleshooting for BI tools.
• Work with team leaders to understand user requirements and tailor BI solutions accordingly.
• Modify existing reports, extracts, and dashboards when necessary.
