Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a sales-focused Mechanical Fabrication Specialist to identify opportunities and drive revenue in precision machining and sheet metal fabrication.

You will conduct site visits, take measurements, and draft sketches for fabrication, while providing technical consultation and coordinating with production teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Nitec in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Experience with stainless steel fabrication is a plus.
• On-site measurement and sketching experience.
• Good communication and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the precision machining and sheet metal fabrication industry .
• Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements, take on-site measurements , and prepare sketches for fabrication and reverse engineering.
• Provide technical consultation based on mechanical fabrication expertise and recommend suitable solutions to customers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and respond effectively to their technical and commercial requirements.
• Work closely with customers, production teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Support the complete sales cycle , from lead generation and quotation through to project handover.
• Follow up with customers to develop new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.

Job Requirement:

• Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in sheet metal fabrication or related mechanical industries.
• Strong background in stainless steel fabrication is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of mechanical design and fabrication processes .
• Experience in on-site measurement and sketching for production or fabrication purposes.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence or own vehicle will be an advantage.
• Good communication and customer relationship management skills.
• Experience in cleanroom-related industries , such as Semiconductor or Pharmaceutical , will be an advantage.
