Job summary

PRISTINE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site/Project Coordinator to support PMs in understanding requirements, coordinating drawings, and tracking progress on construction projects.

You will conduct site inspections, ensure safety and quality, and liaise with owners, consultants, and subcontractors to drive on-time delivery. The role requires 3+ years in construction, a relevant degree, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project.

Job Description:

• Collaborate with Project Managers to understand project requirements, specifications,contractual obligations, and client expectations.
• Check and analyse construction drawings, authority requirements, tender specifications, and contract documents.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking to ensure timely completion of works.
• Monitor and inspect site installations and construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, design requirements, project specifications, and industry standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship quality, and compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
• Identify,prepare, and highlight discrepancies in drawings and coordinate with consultants for clarification and resolution.
• Oversee project execution in accordance with contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, approved drawings, and regulatory specifications.
• Coordinate effectively with owners, architects, consultants, project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Provide technical support and practical solutions to resolve site, engineering, and construction-related issues.
• Implement and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures to ensure works meet industry standards and statutory regulations.
• Conduct inspections and checks on construction materials to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Manage project resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
• Prepare, update, and present project schedules using Microsoft Project to clients and stakeholders.
• Implement and enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct site safety inspections and follow up on corrective actions where necessary.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily site reports, progress reports, inspection records, material usage records, manpower allocation reports, equipment utilization records, and as-built drawings.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and report project status and challenges to Management.
• Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and project discussions with stakeholders.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by Management as required.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and construction processes.
• Familiar with relevant building regulations, authority requirements, and safety standards.
• Knowledgeable in basic AutoCAD software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and able to prepare and present project schedules to clients.
• Possession of WSQ safety-related certification or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Positive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to work.
• Able to handle construction projects independently and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication, coordination, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Willing to attend to site matters or emergency calls outside office hours when required.
• 6-day work week.
