About the Role
This role owns the EMS software architecture, energy-dispatch strategies, and system integration for residential solar-plus-storage systems, ensuring reliable coordination between local devices and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Design EMS solutions and software architecture and develop and optimize core control strategies for intelligent energy dispatch, load management, and grid-connected and off-grid transition control in solar-plus-storage systems.
- 2. Develop energy dispatch algorithms that optimize energy allocation based on photovoltaic generation, load demand, and battery status.
- 3. Complete communications integration and system commissioning between the EMS, BMS, PCS, loads, and cloud platforms.
- 4. Perform software functional debugging and compatibility testing, and diagnose and resolve system interaction failures, data discrepancies, and related issues.
- 5. Produce EMS design documents, algorithm manuals, and development standards, and establish a reusable energy-management technology framework.
- 6. Define EMS data models, communication interfaces, configuration management, and exception-recovery mechanisms to keep system interfaces clear and maintainable.
- 7. Establish simulation, test, and acceptance methods for energy strategies and validate dispatch results across load profiles, battery states, and grid-connected and off-grid conditions.
- 8. Analyze production and field operating data, isolate communication, strategy, performance, and stability issues, and drive software fixes.
Requirements
- 9. Bachelor's degree or above in automation, power systems, new energy, software engineering, or a related discipline. At least 10 years of EMS development experience for energy storage systems.
- 10. Familiarity with integrated residential solar-plus-storage systems and knowledge of energy dispatch, load forecasting, and grid-connected and off-grid coordination strategies.
- 11. Experience developing Linux applications using multithreading, multiprocessing, shared memory, and network communication to implement reliable energy management applications.
- 12. Proficiency in Linux application development and familiarity with multithreading, multiprocessing, shared memory, and network communications.
- 13. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and experience integrating an EMS with BMS, PCS, and cloud platforms.
- 14. Knowledge of international grid-connection requirements applicable to energy storage systems. Energy storage product development experience is preferred.
- 15. Embedded development and algorithm-optimization capabilities. Able to read technical specifications, prepare EMS design documents, and participate in international research and development collaboration in English.
- 16. Experience designing complex system interfaces, state machines, and exception-recovery mechanisms.
- 17. Ability to analyze system logs and field data and convert findings into verifiable software improvements.
