Job summary

AMBITION GROUP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a shipping operations professional responsible for the full cycle of dry bulk shipments.

You will nominate vessels, coordinate chartering, and oversee loading and discharging for ore/mineral cargoes while ensuring timely final settlements. You will prepare shipping documents (B/L, COA, COO, certificates) and monitor demurrage/despatch, collaborating with surveyors, agents, and terminals.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/logistics operations is preferred.
• Strong understanding of dry bulk shipments and chartering terms.
• Good communication and coordination skills across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of the operational cycle for dry bulk shipments, from vessel nomination through to final settlement.
• Manage end-to-end shipment execution: laycan/vessel nomination, chartering liaison, loading/discharge coordination for dry bulk cargoes, including ore/mineral shipments.
• Prepare and review shipping documents (B/L, COA, COO, insurance certs).
• Monitor demurrage/despatch calculations and disputes.
• Coordinate with surveyors, agents, freight forwarders, and terminal operators.
• Track LC/payment terms and liaise with trade finance.
• Interface with traders, freight desk, and finance on P&L reconciliation.
• Handle claims (quality/quantity discrepancies) where they arise.
