Job summary

Maybank Singapore is establishing a Cyber Assurance & Emerging Threats capability to proactively identify risks and strengthen cyber resilience. The role focuses on horizon scanning, independent assessments, and scenario development to guide risk controls and governance reporting.

You will translate complex threats into business-relevant insights and work with senior stakeholders to improve preventative and detective security capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in cyber security or related field with 4–10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience across threat intelligence, risk management, and security controls.
• Certifications preferred including CISSP, CISM, CRISC and SANS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor global threat landscape and identify emerging threats affecting the Bank.
• Conduct horizon scanning and assess risks before incidents materialise.
• Translate threats into practical risk scenarios and remediation recommendations.
• Perform independent assessments of preparedness against evolving threats.
• Develop attack narratives and future-state cyber risk scenarios.
• Present findings to senior stakeholders and governance committees.
