Job summary

Maybank Singapore is seeking an experienced Cyber Emerging Threats Analyst to help shape the future of cyber resilience. You will independently assess emerging technologies, attack techniques, and threat actors to strengthen the Bank’s control environment and provide forward‑looking insights to senior stakeholders.

You will participate in threat intelligence, risk assessment, reporting, and advisory activities to enhance preventative, detective, and responsive security capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline with 4 to 10 years of experience in two or more of the following:
• Experience in banking, financial services, consulting or highly regulated industries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the global cyber threat landscape and identify new and emerging threats that may impact the Bank.
• Translate emerging threats into practical risk scenarios, control requirements and remediation recommendations.
• Conduct independent assessments of the Bank's preparedness against emerging cyber threats.
• Evaluate whether existing security controls remain effective against evolving attack techniques.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance committees.
