Job summary

Maybank Singapore Limited is seeking a Cyber Assurance Analyst to strengthen cyber resilience. You will independently assess cyber and technology controls, identify emerging risk exposures, and provide objective challenge to risk management and continuous improvement across the Bank.

You will participate in thematic risk assurance, emerging threat-informed reviews, and independent validation, reporting to senior management with clear insights and remediation oversight.

Qualifications

• Degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience in two or more: Cyber Security Assurance, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, SOC, Penetration Testing, Security Architecture, Vulnerability Management, IT Governance, Cyber Risk Management, Incident Response, Cloud Security.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute thematic assurance reviews across cyber/tech risk domains.
• Design evidence-based validation tests and document reviews to assess control design and operating effectiveness.
• Identify systemic weaknesses and root causes in cyber/tech risk.
• Develop AI-enabled monitoring to automate control testing and detect risk indicators.
• Support identification of control gaps and remediation opportunities.
• Assess control effectiveness against evolving threats and regulatory developments.
• Challenge risk assessments and validation results; ensure remediation is effective.
