Republic Polytechnic seeks a versatile Development Engineer/Specialist to advance Physical and Embodied AI, bridging software with hardware through ROS2. You will design, prototype, and deploy AI-enabled physical systems, including robotics, UAVs, and smart automation, while mentoring student projects and engaging with industry partners.

You will lead end-to-end R&D efforts, perform feasibility pilots, and contribute to live innovation showcases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Robotics, CS, EE or Mechatronics.
• Proven hands-on experience with ROS2 in robotics projects.
• Experience deploying ML/DL models and CV workflows on physical platforms.
• Strong embedded software skills in C++ and Python, with good code practices.
• Hands-on hardware integration: sensors, edge devices, and microcontrollers.

Responsabilités

• Design, prototype, and deploy AI-enabled physical systems using ROS2.
• Integrate AI models, computer vision, sensors, and edge devices.
• Lead feasibility studies and pilot programs for AI-enabled automation.
• Manage full lifecycle of applied research projects with documentation and support.
• Translate high-potential AI prototypes into scalable industry solutions.
