Job summary

Xcellink Pte Ltd in Singapore invites an experienced embedded software engineer to design and develop devices for an integrated e-payment Fare Collection System. You will participate in the full SDLC, from requirements to testing and deployment.

You will implement secure communications, work with TCP/IP, HTTPS, MQTT-S, and cloud integrations, and contribute to documentation, testing, and on‑going support. Strong C++ on embedded systems and UML modeling are essential.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of object-oriented software development experience.
Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience through at least one complete Software Development Lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Designing and developing software applications for embedded devices.
Implementing and optimizing communication protocols (TCP/IP, HTTPS, FTPS/SFTP, MQTT-S) for embedded devices to cloud platforms.
Testing, debugging, and troubleshooting embedded devices for functionality, connectivity, performance, and reliability.
Preparing SDLC deliverables such as Requirements Specifications, Software Architecture Documents, Design Specifications, Interface Specifications, and manuals.
Providing day-to-day application support and liaising with users about requirements and issues.
