Job summary

Xcellink Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a capable QA/Test Engineer to oversee the full testing lifecycle of an integrated e-payment system. You will plan, design, execute, and automate tests, and manage defects plus performance analysis.

You will interpret requirements, set up test environments, design test cases, and apply scripting for automation. Experience with SIT/UAT and performance testing is valued; ISTQB certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in test execution and automation involving devices or backend systems.
• Familiarity with the entire system development lifecycle.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification (preferred).
• Prior experience in micro-payment systems, smart card technologies, or automated fare collection systems is advantageous.
• Hands-on knowledge of various test phases such as SIT, UAT, and performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute end-to-end testing for an integrated e-payment system.
• Interpret business and system requirements to develop effective test strategies.
• Set up and maintain test environments.
• Design and implement manual and automated test cases.
• Use scripting or programming languages for test automation and performance tuning.
• Ensure test coverage through traceability and gap analysis.
• Document and manage defects, ensuring resolution.
• Review test outcomes with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct root cause analysis on production and UAT issues.
• Produce clear technical documentation and user guides for testing tools and solutions.
