Qualifications

  • PhD or Masters in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering with 6–8 years of relevant research experience.
  • Experience with embedded systems and cryptography algorithms (PQC or QKD).
  • Proficient in C, Java, Assembly, Python, or VHDL for analysis.
  • Experience with oscilloscopes and microcontrollers.
  • Strong writing skills for proposals, reports and publications.
  • Creative, curious, self-motivated, and a team player with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate embedded microcontrollers and cryptography algorithms, transitioning from classical to quantum-resistant standards.
  • Develop non-invasive and semi-invasive hardware security research methods with PQC and QKD integration.
  • Design experiments for device setup and testing; perform data analysis on hybrid quantum-security architectures.
  • Provide technical assessments to internal and external project collaborators to improve silicon security.
  • Produce technical reports and documentation complying with international standards.
  • Disseminate research findings through high-impact publications and international conferences.
  • Inform long-term project roadmap by identifying hardware-forensics threats and mitigation strategies.
