Kingfisher Recruitment Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an Embedded Linux Performance Engineer to help optimise Linux on ARM-based SoCs for automotive cockpit and driver-assistance capabilities. You will analyse CPU performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement benchmarking-driven improvements.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Linux performance, strong C/C++ skills, and hands-on profiling with perf and ftrace, collaborating with hardware and software teams to push system efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of Linux performance optimisation or SoC performance analysis.
• Strong understanding of Linux kernel subsystems and profiling with perf and ftrace.
• Proficiency in ARMv8/ARMv9 and Cortex-A microarchitectures (A76/A78/A720).
• Knowledge of AXI/ACE bus protocols, cache coherence and memory subsystems.
• Strong C/C++ skills, with Python or Bash scripting for automation.

Responsabilités

• Adapt and optimise the Linux kernel for ARM-based SoC platforms.
• Analyse and improve ARM CPU performance and system-level scheduling.
• Identify performance bottlenecks across CPU, memory, cache and kernel subsystems.
• Design and implement Linux performance optimisation solutions with benchmarking and profiling.
• Benchmark and optimise kernel compilation toolchains and development workflows.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to resolve perf issues and improve system efficiency.
