Job summary

Creative Technology Ltd. in Singapore seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to join the Firmware team and develop embedded firmware for consumer electronics and embedded platforms.

You will help deliver reliable, high-performance products and participate in testing, code reviews and documentation. The role requires a 0–3 year background in firmware or embedded systems, proficiency in C, and familiarity with common interfaces such as UART, I2C, SPI, USB and I2S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
• 0–3 years of firmware or embedded systems development experience or internship/project experience with embedded development is a plus.
• Proficiency in C programming; C++ knowledge is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of microcontroller systems, interrupts, memory, peripheral drivers, and real-time firmware behavior.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and debug embedded firmware features for consumer products, ensuring product functions meet design, quality and schedule requirements.
• Implement and validate firmware modules including device drivers, communication interfaces, peripheral control and system-level logic on embedded platforms.
• Participate in firmware testing, debugging, code reviews and issue resolution to improve firmware reliability, maintainability and product stability.
• Prepare and maintain firmware documentation, test notes, release and technical records to support product development and future maintenance.
• Support basic test automation, build processes and CI activities where applicable to improve development efficiency and firmware quality.
