Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluent programming capabilities in C and Python (and similar languages).
• Strong CS fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, problem solving.
• Demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking ability.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical issues.
• Understanding of micro-controllers and their interaction with firmware.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware in C for storage devices and related platforms.
• Validate new and existing hardware features and write firmware drivers.
• Collaborate with global team to resolve issues detected internally or externally.
• Exercise independent judgment in methods and evaluation criteria for results.
• Contribute to firmware features that improve functionality, reliability, performance, and manufacturability.
• Develop, integrate, debug, and maintain firmware across product development phases.
• Optimize and improve existing firmware stacks, libraries, and platform components.
