Job summary

Synapxe Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an Observability Platform Engineer to scale and manage our Elastic-based SaaS observability platform, focusing on logs, metrics, and traces with Elastic Stack and Logstash.

The role emphasizes platform availability, security, performance, and self-service capabilities for operations teams. The engineer will design, deploy, and optimize telemetry pipelines, onboard infrastructure devices, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in enterprise infrastructure; 1 year in monitoring/logging.
• Hands-on with modern observability tools; open to transition.
• Strong monitoring and troubleshooting foundation.
• Experience with scripting and infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix; Ruby, Shell, Painless.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SYNAPXE observability platform with monitoring, metrics, logging, and visualization.
• Collaborate with vendors to design a platform with AI/ML capabilities.
• Onboard existing infrastructure devices to the observability platform.
• Develop early anomaly detection, pattern analysis, self-healing, scaling, noise reduction, and outage prediction.
• Create end-user visualizations and dashboards; support report customization.
