Job summary

CPG Facilities Management seeks a Lift Engineer to oversee lift systems across estates in Singapore. You will manage maintenance contractors, monitor compliance, investigate faults and support upgrade projects.

Key responsibilities include site inspections, defect follow-ups, contractor performance reviews and stakeholder liaison with residents and authorities. A 2-year renewable contract with benefits is offered, based in the Northwest area (Choa Chu Kang).

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC/ Diploma in Electronics, Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in lift engineering or maintenance.
• Good knowledge of lift systems and Singapore statutory requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and contractor/stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple sites and respond to operational issues.
• Experience managing lift contractors or upgrading projects in public housing, Town Council or commercial environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lift maintenance, operation and performance across estates.
• Monitor lift availability, breakdowns, response times and rectification works.
• Manage lift maintenance contractors and assess their performance and compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and follow up on defects and recurring faults.
• Investigate major lift faults and recommend corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support for lift replacement, upgrading and improvement projects.
• Review technical submissions, maintenance reports and contractor recommendations.
• Liaise with Town Council, contractors, regulators and residents on lift matters.
• Prepare reports on lift performance, breakdown trends and contractor performance.
